Just a Number?
As I said before, I was not looking forward to this milestone, this birthday. The first day of the last day of my thirties. I am not where I want to be right now, and this past month has been rough.
My posts have been a little blue, and this one would continue that trend, so I thought I would stop here and just share some things that happened in the month and year that I was born: October, 1969. Long, long ago.

First of all HAPPY BIRTHDAY, I hope you had a special day spent with friends and loved ones :)
Secondly it is just that "a number" - don't pay any attention to what the number is just live your life to suit yourself - not the calendar. So you imagined yourself to be in a different place right now - I think we all feel like that at some stage. Let me just say it feels no different being the other side of 40 :)
I have regrets and certainly would do a few things differently given the chance over, but in the end you just make the best of what you've got and enjoy it :)
Ooops sorry a bit long there :-P I hope your 39th year is all that you want it to be :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Woot-Woot!!!
Happy Birthday Kim! (A day late, sorry 'bout that!) It appears the universe has given you a chance to make your life whatever you want that you never got around to for this birthday... or at least, maybe that's one way to look at it? :)
We had one of those ugly rugs too!
By the way, you gave me good advice when I had the "this is not where I wanted to be" bout --- go to the mirror and give it back to yourself. Practice it up-- I might need it again soon.
