Why I Love Cats

I am not just a cat person or a dog person, I love them both equally. The video above shows one of the main reasons I love cats, though. Even as kittens, cats will stalk objects, people, dogs, or other cats, with great seriousness. I have always loved to watch my cats creep around a corner to sneak up on me, each other, or a random sock. There is such a playfulness about it, and I never know what they will do next to entertain me.

Just for Laughs

This picture was captioned on the I Can Has Cheezburger site. I think it is funnier on its own, without a word. I have laughed so hard this morning over this photo. I can totally see this happening, because the minute any type of grocery or shopping bag comes into this house, one of my cats is IN it. They love them. Have a great Thursday!

Sunday Laughs

I needed a good laugh this morning, and went searching for my all-time favorite commercials. These three clips never fail to make me smile. The Citibank one, OMG, when he repeats that password on the train, I laugh so hard EVERY time. The EDS commercial is just brilliant as far as I am concerned. The whole concept, the seriousness of the cowboys-- it just kills me. And this aired years ago, and I remember it still.
The Mastercard one is airing now, and I will stop whatever I am doing to watch these little guys. Love it!

Offbeat

Thanks to my friend Cassandra, I am now a frequent visitor and quasi-addict of a quirky website: http://icanhascheezburger.com/. It all started with her sending some pictures along from this site, and then I started checking it out, and that was it. I think you have to have a certain sense of humor to enjoy this as much as I do, and Cassandra and I defintely have the same funny bone!
Anyway, this site has a huge global following, and most of the pictures are of cats being funny, entertaining....cats. And the people who post are all animal lovers. There is a certain weird "language" they post in--and you have to get used to that, too. But it is all a crack up. I have spent way too much time on this site this weekend...but, hey, it's better than working, right?
I have posted three of my favorites from the site. The blinker one kills me. I have been laughing at that one all day today.
